Tasintha programme is a grass root Non-Governmental organization (NGO), a non- profit making, non partisan and interdenominational in nature that was established on the 1st of April, 1992. The aim of the programme is to address issues of the children and women living in hazardous situations of sex work, sexually transmitted infections
Where we work
Women undergoing rehabilitation process at Tasintha are able to draw their resource together which enables them to lend out as loans to each other so that they are able to start and run their own businesses through organised savings called Grow Our Wealth Self Help Group. This concept was introduced by our partner Zambia Led-Prevention in conjunction with USAID.

Tasintha calls upon ALL to support its efforts in transforming sex workers into better citizens. Those who feel touched by what we do are free to visit us at our offices located on Malambo Road, light industrial area just next to National milling.If you cannot change a thousand,you can change one!!!!
